Mohsin Piyarji loved snacks. Not in a casual way but in the way where you notice the difference between something made well and something made to just get by. He would try snacks from different brands, enjoy the flavour, and then feel let down by the inconsistency. A pack would be great one week and forgettable the next. The quality never quite held.
Anand Namkeen started right there in Sidhpur, North Gujarat, with a simple promise: every pack would be made to the same standard. Not the standard of what is acceptable. The standard of what is actually good. That stubbornness about quality, which some might have called impractical in the early days, turned out to be the foundation of everything.
Over time, the brand grew. A new identity was created. Anand Namkeen became Anand Jolliz. The range expanded. The distribution grew. The family grew with it. But through all of that, the one thing that never changed was the original promise. Every pack, the same standard. No exceptions.
